Our approach to privacy

CalcSpectrum is designed to provide fast, accessible calculation tools without personal intrusion. We do not require accounts, logins, email submissions, or profile creation. Our software runs computations directly inside your web browser rather than processing your personal figures on centralized calculation servers.

Calculator information

When you use a calculator on CalcSpectrum:

• Client-Side Computation: All mathematical calculations, mortgage schedules, and health estimates run locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript.
• No Server Transmission of Calculations: Your inputted numbers, currency amounts, and calculated outputs are not transmitted to or stored on CalcSpectrum servers.
• Local File Generation: When you use “Export (Excel)” or “Download CSV,” the spreadsheet file is compiled directly within your browser’s memory and downloaded to your device. No file generation requests are sent across the network.

Information stored in your browser

CalcSpectrum uses your browser’s standard localStorage feature to improve your experience across visits:

• Draft Calculation State: When you type numbers into a calculator, your values are saved locally in your browser so your entries remain intact if you reload or return to that page.
• Related Tool Continuity: Where relevant, compatible inputs (such as an interest rate or term) may populate a related calculator when you navigate between tools.

This data is stored locally in your browser and is not uploaded to a central database. You can remove all saved calculator state at any time by clearing your browser cookies and site storage, or by using your browser’s private or incognito browsing mode.

Technical information

Like virtually all internet services, our hosting and infrastructure providers (such as Vercel) automatically process routine technical server logs when your browser requests web pages, stylesheets, and scripts. These logs may record standard network details, including:

• Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Browser type and operating system user-agent
• Requested page URLs and response timestamps
• HTTP status codes and data transfer volumes

This operational information is processed solely to deliver web assets reliably, mitigate denial-of-service attacks, diagnose infrastructure faults, and enforce system security.

Third-party services

CalcSpectrum relies on a minimal external architecture:

• Currency Reference Rates: On the Currency Calculator, current foreign exchange benchmarks are fetched directly by your browser from the public Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev). This query transmits only the requested currency codes (for example, USD and EUR). Your conversion amounts and calculation results are never sent to the provider.
• Typography: Fonts are bundled and served directly from our application origin, preventing third-party font request tracking.

Cookies and analytics

CalcSpectrum sets no non-essential cookies. We do not operate advertising tracking networks, third-party analytics suites, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking scripts. Because we do not deploy marketing or behavioral tracking technologies, no intrusive cookie consent banners are required.

Data retention

Because we do not operate user accounts or maintain a database of calculator entries, CalcSpectrum does not retain personal calculation profiles. Technical hosting logs are maintained and cycled according to standard infrastructure security and operational practices.

Your choices

You have full control over your local calculation data:

• You can calculate freely without registering or identifying yourself.
• You can clear all stored calculator inputs at any time via your browser settings.
• You can prevent local storage completely by using private or incognito browsing windows.

Changes to this policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect technical improvements, new tools, or regulatory updates. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
